FIRST BLOG

Hello Everyone! I decided to give this a try. Please be patient with me as I am still learning and trying to figure out how to blog.





I want to let everyone know of the exciting things that have been happening to our family these past few months. First of all, on Feb. 2, 2010 we adopted a baby boy (by then he was almost 1). We were doing foster care for him the first year of his life and he only knows us as his family. Then on Feb. 19, 2010, which was also his 1st birthday, we took him to the temple to be sealed to our family. That was a really neat experience! I loved having Stephanie and Tiffany there to watch this happen (and Zachary was there in spirit).



Later that evening, we had a dinner and open house at the church. It was fun to see everyone. My friend so graciously took pictures for us at the temple and the church. We also celebrated Stephanie's 17th birthday, since hers was the weekend earlier. Then two days later, on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, we blessed our new baby boy. We named him Jeremy Michael Zachary Wellard. His birth mother named him Michael so we kept that for his middle name and we also wanted Zachary, after our son who has since passed away.

I am going to try and figure out how to post some pictures...if you don't see any, I haven't figured it out yet!
